Hello!
I am Danna Stumberg and I’m so excited that you’ve visited Stumberg Photography’s website! I am the driving force behind this wonderful, creative venture and I LOVE what I do! For now I am at home in Naples, Italy and feel so lucky to live in such an amazing, exciting place!
I first experienced photography while serving in the U.S. Navy as a Mass Communication Specialist. Over my 5-year enlistment I photographed countless deployments, homecomings, promotions, retirement ceremonies and more. The Navy taught me so much about photography, story telling, professionalism and dedication. This has extended to my life outside of the Navy and enabled me to bring that much more passion and experience to my business.
Because my roots lie in photojournalism, I gravitate toward lifestyle photography where real, genuine moments lend to the most incredible images. My specialties are on location, natural light photography and lifestyle photography done in your home.
Your home is where you are most comfortable and where you spend the most time. I love the challenge of capturing your special little everyday moments in extraordinary ways. Cuddles, story time, bubble baths and playtime are some of many wonderful opportunities that show your children and family in their most beautiful, realistic moments. These are the memories you will treasure forever and pass on to future generations.
My ultimate passion is Birth Photography. There is no moment in life as powerful or as transformative as the moment you become a parent and your sweet baby takes his or her first breath. I myself am a mother to two gorgeous boys and I know that as beautiful as birth is, it can be quickly forgotten in the wake of sleepless nights. Having your birth experience captured allows you to go back and remember how supportive your husband was, how crooked your newborn’s sweet little nose was or the look on your older child’s face when they first saw their new baby sibling. Pure magic. Every birth I have photographed has had an incredible impact on me and continues to make me so excited to continue preserving those memories for other families.
When I am not tucked behind my lens you will find me crafting, reading or trying out new recipes I find on Pinterest.
I feel every photographer needs a comfortable pair of shoes! Also, a package of tissues should be handy at all times, as you get caught up in the moments just as much your clients do.
My boys say I give the best hugs and make a mean pan of mac n’ cheese!
Oh, and I have an insane collection of washi tape.
Thank you again for swinging by! Please feel free to linger for a while.
Love to all!
