This shoot was SO MUCH FUN!
This mom and dad to be are two of our greatest friends so we knew we HAD to come up with something that had never been done before and isn’t the typical Pinterest-y gender reveal. Something that we (and everyone else in the photography world…) have always had fun with on the 4th of July is “painting with light”. Primarily done with sparklers… This time we broke out the tripod, colored gels and LED lights to spell out words and hearts. Unfortunately as soon as we set up it started to rain! Thankfully we were able to get the job done in just a few frames and get back inside before everyone was soaked.
This is something we LOVE to do… to come up with new and exciting ways to share your good news and capture your family’s memories. This is what Mary had to say about her experience working with us.
“Stumberg Photography has been so great to work with our entire pregnancy! From announcing we’re pregnant to our recent gender reveal shoot, Danna strives to come up with original, fun, creative ways to photograph our family! When she first brought up the idea to use “lights” to tell the world if Baby Dever is a Boy or a Girl, my husband and I could not imagine what she was thinking or how she was going to make this work. Luckily, we trusted her and her creative skills and the photos turned out AWESOME! Our own, individual, unique way to tell the world, “We’re Having a Boy!” Not only do we have these wonderful photos that captured our excitement, but we had fun at the shoot! We got to see Danna and Justin in action, bouncing better ideas off each other, making sure we got the best possible photos. I cannot WAIT for the next shoot! We already have them lined up for our maternity photos, birth photos, and newborn photos. Hopefully, we can lock them in for the 6 month and 1 year photos as well! Thank you, Stumberg Photography!”
