What an experience this day was! Adeline was born in the water on a gorgeous Saturday morning and I was thrilled to be there. This sweet baby girl arrived less than two hours after I showed up. Megan was a birth goddess… She was perfectly calm, confident and empowered during the entire process. My favorite thing about this day had to be watching Megan interact with her older daughter, Jolene. Jolene spent much of the morning in the pool with her mom, rubbing her back and stroking her hair. She was a perfect little doula! Even after Adeline arrived and mom and baby moved to the bed, big sister was there… asking questions, watching everything and taking it all in. It was so beautiful to witness not only Adeline being born but also Megan and Keith falling in love with their new daughter and Jolene and big brother Tucker learning about life and welcoming their new baby sister. I have no doubt that this day will be remembered by everyone who was present. It warms my heart to know that the whole family will treasure these images and be able to remember even the tiniest details… all because they chose to have them documented through birth photography.
