For the second iPhone Photo Friday, I decided to do a story on the wedding of AJ and Amber Lee. AJ is an Air Force Photojournalist that I go to Syracuse with and he kindly invited me to share this special moment in his life. I’ve been lucky enough to get to know AJ and Amber this year and I have to say that they are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They’ve been dating since High School, so they know each other inside and out.
Usually, at a get together I’m the only one with the camera, but this isn’t the case when you go to school with 15 other photographers. Everyone and their mother(literally) had some sort of camera. Even though the official photographer was cool with everyone taking photos, I still tried to respect his space and give him dibs on all of the important moments. If I was shooting a wedding I wouldn’t want somebody with a phone camera getting in my way.
I had a lot of fun shooting from the peripherals and I wanted to show that even though I didn’t have my D700, I could still capture some moments. (Just a disclaimer-I wasn’t the official photographer and I would never shoot a wedding or anything professional with an iPhone)
